Tofino Art: Jim Cummins a.k.a. I Braineater

Jim Cummins is a painter, sculptor, musician, artist and poet. He also produced albums, music videos and has proven that he can do just about anything else he sets his mind to.

Already having an established following in Tofino after last years exhibition at the Lounge Collection, Jim made a big splash this summer with the arrival of his colourful ‘Braineater’ inspired surf and skim boards. Beautifully crafted and painted in Jim’s unmistakable style, they instantly gained approval of Tofino’s surf-centric community, where many of them found new homes with the local collectors of surf art and memorabilia.
